My architecture degree was supposed to be my ticket to a dream career. But a plot twist involving Belgian bureaucracy forced me to hit the reset button.
I graduated from architecture school with the naive belief that a single degree would define my career for the rest of my life. I loved being an architect - the creativity, problem-solving, and satisfaction of seeing my vision come to life ignited my creative spirit. It wasn't just a job; it was a passion that was truly fulfilling.
However, life rarely unfolds exactly as planned. After moving to Belgium, I encountered a complex web of bureaucratic hurdles (shocking, right?) that prevented me from practicing architecture. This unexpected obstacle forced me to confront a harsh truth: life isn't solely about the degree you hold. Despite my passion for architecture, I realized my deeper desire was the dream of creating something impactful that would resonate with people and improve their lives. Whether as an architect or designer, that fundamental creative impulse remained constant - a realization I wouldn't trade for anything.
My creative journey began at age fourteen, when I delved into design tools. That initial spark ignited a lifelong passion, and I knew I wanted to dedicate my career to using these tools for creative communication. So when roadblocks prevented me from pursuing architecture, I decided to go back to where I started—taking the skills and passion I had cultivated over the years to build something new.
My mission? To empower brands, not just with functional designs, but with a comprehensive approach that helps them achieve their unique vision. Through my company, I aim to help brands tell their stories, connect with audiences, and ultimately achieve lasting success.
This journey is far from over, but it's a testament to the power of embracing adaptability and rediscovering one's true passions.
